NOWFE 2021 (The New Orleans Wine & Food Experience) was back this year after the pandemic cancelled the festivities last year. We attended the Saturday afternoon Grand Tasting and although the format was slightly different to accommodate some social distancing due to COVID restrictions which included banquet tables and chairs, the festive atmosphere of tasting new foods and wines remained the same.
What wine lover wouldn’t want to go wine tasting in the New Orleans French Quarter? I’d honestly have to check the pulse of any wine drinker who would dare turn down a good time like that. And even though one of the ultimate wine events that happens in the heart of the French Quarter didn’t happen this year because of COVID, the Royal Street Stroll where you literally stroll the French Quarter tasting wines, the pared down events were still a fun time. NOWFE (New Orleans Wine & Food Experience) is consistently voted as one of the best wine festivals in the country and how could it not be. Especially when you combine the city of New Orleans, delicious food with wine tasting, that is a combination that’s hard to top. Check out a few pics below from our time at the 2021 NOWFE Saturday Grand Tasting and make plans to visit next year and enjoy it with us!
