The weather in New Orleans this weekend was absolutely freaking fabulous. So much so, that we felt we had to be outside. I LOVE pretty weather New Orleans, which is why we chose to get out and do brunch on Saturday. We actually chose another spot, which I won’t name here, but we tried both locations of the other spot (lines were a bit long) before ending up at one of our favorites, Company Burger. And even though there was a steady stream of customers, there was no line and no wait. Score.
Company Burger isn’t just hamburgers, they also offer turkey burgers, lamb burgers, falafel burgers, chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, grilled cheese and cocktails.
OUR ORDER:
We ordered the Company Burger to split (we added a fried egg and bacon because, brunch) and we do this a lot to try to keep calories in check. We also got an order of onion rings and fries. We ordered one shake (Ron chose the steen’s malt and omg, YUM) and a glass of the 2019 Broadbent Dao.
Company Burger has a Mayo Bar with different seasoned mayonnaises, our favorite was the garlic mayo with the basil mayo being a close 2nd. And even though we shared everything, we left full!
And we were not done with brunch on Saturday, oh no, no, no, because we went to a more formal brunch on Sunday to Jack Rose in the Pontchartrain Hotel on St. Charles Avenue. We were not about to waste pretty New Orleans weekend weather being inside. Nope.
Now I want to know, what are some of your favorite spots for brunch where you live?
