We were able to take part in a few of the attractions in Atlanta and the CNN Studio Tour was one of them. The tour took you on a journey into the heart of CNN World Headquarters for a glimpse of news and broadcasting in action! We were able to actually see CNN’s Brooke Baldwin broadcasting LIVE! That was a kick for me because I catch a lot of CNN and I watch her afternoon broadcast on most days. A few people had very specific questions about some of the other male CNN hosts. Like where was Anderson Cooper, and when did Don Lemon show up to work, lol.
You can even have your own Prime Time Event right there on site at the CNN Studios in Atlanta. We attended a reception there for Travel South and CNN was a nice backdrop for the party (see photo at left).
Overall, the CNN studio tour was a neat glimpse into how a news show is produced and we learned a few tv tricks that are used on the broadcasts daily. I’d say if you watch CNN, the tour is definitely worth a look-see.
