Travel South hosted their opening night welcome reception at the Georgia Aquarium and what a spectacular event location it was! (Book your event here!) We were treated to great food and good music and as a side bar, travel media, buyers and suppliers were privy to a behind the scenes peek at what the aquarium had to offer. This aquarium currently holds more than eight million gallons of fresh and marine water and more aquatic life is found at this location than in any other aquarium. During Travel South, we were also able to witness a super special sneak peek of the upcoming Dolphin Exhibit that opens on April 2, 2011, and it was something to see:
Opening April 2, AT&T Dolphin Tales, is a new multi-million dollar exhibit – and the biggest expansion to date for the world’s largest aquarium. Through its impressive viewing window, interactive displays and unsurpassed live theatrical show, AT&T Dolphin Tales is dedicated to creating memorable connections and a greater understanding of dolphins.
If you’re traveling South on vacation to the Atlanta, Georgia area, the Georgia Aquarium would be a neat attraction to include in your fun things to do.
