This was our first time traveling to Canada! It was cold but we had a great time on this business/leisure trip. We flew into Vancouver and drove to Whistler, Canada (that drive was gorgeous!) and we stayed at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler which was absolutely beautiful.

We had the chance to ski in Whistler but opted out because we didn’t pack warm enough clothes, but we did ride the ski lift up the mountain and this is where we found out how flipping FRIGID it was up there, which meant no skiing for us, lol. Whistler, Canada weather in April is still really, really cold. Like 20 degrees cold in the mountains where theres skiing.

But we still really enjoyed our first trip to Canada, the people were genuinely nice, the scenery was beautiful and we ate good food. We rarely have an awful time on trips and we always talk about looking forward to visiting Whistler again soon.
