I wore this cutout swimsuit that I made with black scuba material on a Caribbean cruise we took and even though it took a few tries to get the style and fit right, I was pleased with the way it turned out. 

I used a dance leotard and a sports bra to make my pattern, and you can kind of see the influence of my sports bra from the back view. After initially seeing these photos I wished I had tweaked it a little more to not look so much like the back of a sports bra, but what’s done is done and you make a mental note to do it better next time.
