MY DIY STYLE

FASHION SEWING MY DIY V-NECK FESTIVAL CAMISOLE

My #DIY v-neck #spring #festival cami took me exactly 4 tries (FOUR) to get right. Whew chile… this basic top tried to take me out but I conquered it! I also really LOVE IT. This is a top that I won’t mind making for myself in every color imaginable, because after all a lightweight camisole is a wonderful base piece of classic women’s clothing as you could wear it alone, underneath a jacket with a midi skirt and lots of other ways.

And like I said before, this v-neck camisole took me 4 tries before I got it right and that right there is something that goes above and beyond sewing. I could have let this self drafted sewing pattern frustrate the hell out of me, as this camisole still wasn’t quite right on my THIRD try, and we all know that the third time is supposed to be the charm, well it wasn’t. But because I persevered and pushed through to a 4th attempt on making this top that turned out to be a success, I was rewarded with one of my favorite makes ever, one that I have since made in multiple colors and styles and one that I definitely plan on making into a digital pattern to offer to you soon!

I posted multiple photos of me in my DIY V-Neck Cami in a handful of different colors and I would love to hear about a sewing project that you didn’t give up on, something that you absolutely love. I want to be inspired by your creativity too.
